Therefore, the windows must be separated from the surrounding components by joints of appropriate sizes. The dead loads take effect vertically.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WIND FORCES<\/strong><br \/>The wind forces that occur are dependent on the geographical position, the environment, the building height and the position of the windows in the building. Wind forces take effect horizontally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NET LOADS<\/strong><br \/>Net loads are generally line loads at sill height dependent on the usage of the building. They take effect horizontally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SHOCK LOADS<\/strong><br \/>These are used in particular where fall protection must be guaranteed. They take effect horizontally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SPECIAL LOADS<\/strong><br \/>These loads can be, for example, building maintenance units for cleaning the fa\u00e7ade, anchoring loads for scaffolding etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SNOW AND ICE LOADS<\/strong><br \/>These loads can affect cleaning platforms, for example.
